Why do I love to write?

Writing has always been a form of release for me. It is therapeutic, calming, and a true passion of mine. I remember I first started to write in my diary around the age of eight or nine, and my diary resembled something of so much importance to me. It was a private space that I could write exactly what I was thinking and keep it completely to myself. Although I don't have a diary anymore, I do journal daily because it brings me happiness. I encourage everyone to try journaling at some point in their life, because it has been such a consistent, reliable source of joy for me.

Who Am I?

I am currently a senior at the University of Denver, and my favorite hobbies are playing tennis, playing pickle ball, traveling, and hiking! I am a Colorado native, and I have no desire to leave this beautiful state! I am so excited for you to see some of my favorite writing pieces that I have written throughout my time here at DU! Professionally, I hope to continue on with my writing career in hopes of becoming a contract lawyer!
